Sourceforge.net hat diese Wochen
den CVS-Service geändert. Ich habe nun das
yappa-ng Projekt auf diese neue Struktur umgestellt.
Falls Sie CVS-sourcecode
verwendet seien Sie (noch einmal!) gewarnt, dass ich
durchaus auch ungetesteten Alpha code submitte !!!!
Verwenden Sie daher den CVS-sourcecode
ausschliesslich auf eigene Gefahr (es ist NICHT
empfohlen!!!) |

Dies ist eine Sicherheits-Release für yappa-ng!
Der Grund ist eine "Remote File Inclusion"
und eine "Cross Site Scripting" - Sicherheitslücke!
Ich möchte James Bercegay von dem GulfTech
Security Research Team danken, der mich auf diese
Sicherheitslücke aufmerksam gemacht hat!
Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit und machen Sie einen
Upgrade so bald wie möglich! Diese Sicherheitslücke
wird in ca 2 Wochen auf http://www.gulftech.org

During the last 2 weeks I programmed
a PHP Setup Tool for yappa-ng! Its now really
nice webbased and has all the checks from the
check_setup script built into it.
I finished most tests and I'm satisfied with the performance.
Now I think its time to get some Beta-Test experience
before I send it out with the new release to thousands
of you! :-) |

The last months were more or less completely occupied
with work in my new house. I did wallpapers on the
wall, painted walls, laid carpets, moved the furniture
and did all the work it needs to move from one home
to another.
But from today on most of the work is done and
I take up full work on yappa-ng again! :-)
How work goes on you can see ín the CHANGELOG,
and the next timelines you can see in the ToDo.

After 2 months of hard work I'm proud to announce
yappa-ng 2.1.0 stable production release released.
yappa-ng is now "safe_mode" and "open_basedir"
compatible!
I rewrote major parts of the sourcecode with the
effect, that there is no need anymore to edit the
WebServer config, which has been the case for some
systems (no AcceptPathInfo). So there is no need
for the "Alternate Image Display Method"
anymore!
yappa-ng has now much less memory need because
I rewrote the complete language-management and now
only the used language gets loaded (until now ALL
available languages got loaded!).
Enjoy the yappa-ng 2.1.0 stable !!! ;-)

Not only is this version BUGFIXED, but it is now
HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS 2.0 validated!

BUG on sourceforge.net that all download-counters
